Get involved too

The involvement of your (primary or secondary) school in the pilot is not mandatory and does not assume the commitment of the entire teaching team. In the questionnaire (15 minutes) below, please specify which of the upcoming materials you would like to pilot. With your permission, we will add your school's name to the list above.

The piloting of each material consists of the following steps:

1. Piloting in hours

The methodological materials are designed in different time allocations, from one to three lessons or as a project. During the piloting, the progress of the lesson should be documented - photos of the children's work (worksheets, etc.) and written notes by the teacher. A representative of AI to children may/may not participate in the piloting (at the discretion of the creator of the methodology).

2. Questionnaire

Once the piloting is complete, you must complete the piloting progress form and upload documentation of the piloting.

3. Recorded interview

After completing the questionnaire, we will contact a contact person from your school to request a recorded interview (max. 1 hour). The interview will be transcribed by a third-party AI application into text, which we will work with further in anonymised form. The transcript of the interview will be sent to the person for approval. We will use the summary or parts of the text to refine the model that will be used in the application Informatika.ggwhich part of the AI for Children team has been working on since January 2024. This app, along with the AI curriculum, is intended to serve educators in computer science classes. For it to work well, we need to "teach" the model based on educators' feedback.
